Imperialism

The basic goal of Imperialism was for the Europeans to take control of the Africans and their countries in the 1800's to make money and control more parts of more continents. A major nation that was adopted in this Imperialism age was West Africa which was overcome by the French and Libya which was taken over by the Italians. The effect Imperialism had on other nations was how it changed many lives and made the countries into what they are today. A major effect imperialism had would be the Boer War between the South Africans and the Dutch, Germans and other European nations. Three motives of the imperialism stage are the political motive which was about a nation's desire to gain power, expand territory and compete with other nations. The second one is the religious motive, this one was about a desire to spread Christianity, to protect European missionaries in other lands and end slave trade along with the spread of morals and cutural beliefs. A third motive is the economic motive. That one was about the desire to make and control money and expand and control foreign trade.

napolean

Napoleon Bonaparte was a powerful force in Europe from 1799 to 1815. He rose from the ranks of the French army to become the emperor of France. By 1812 he had control of most of Europe. Unfortunately, he met his demise when he attempted to invade Russia. His downfall was almost as swift as his rise to power.

his leadership style is both positive and negative because he killed many but led a pretty successful leadership. he has a positive effect on Europe because he conquered most of it.

Summary - The French Revolution is defined as the political upheaval of world importance that began in France in 1789. Inspired by the success of the American Revolution, French citizens overthrew the noble, ruling class and establish a democratic government. The French monarchy under Louis XVI was viewed as oppressive and corrupt and the social structure was rigid, meaning it did not allow for social mobility which eventually forced the people to demand change.
